Adult Leader Awards We want to congratulate and recognize Scouters in our Units and District. Without them, the Scouting movement in Pacific Crest District just wouldn't be the same. Awards presented to Pacific Crest District Scouters, Adults, and/or Parents are; Silver Beaver Award - the highest-level award (and knot) presented at the Annual Council Meeting, through a nomination process, to a registered Scouter in a Council noteworthy service of exceptional character to youth within a Council; including service to youth outside of Scouting and the community. District Award of Merit - is the highest-level award (and knot) presented at the Annual District Dinner, through a nomination process, to a registered Scouter for outstanding service to youth through Scouting as an active "team player" in Council, District, and/or Unit responsibilities. Pacific Crest's Red-tail Hawk Unit Award - is presented at the Annual District Dinner by each unit to an adult leader who has made significant contributions to the unit program and support throughout the year and beyond. Pacific Crest's Pathfinder Unit Award- is presented at the Annual District Dinner by each unit to a newer adult leader who has made key contributions in their unit.
